Hi all - a traditional activity of the statistical ecology section is to
sponsor a symposium at the annual meeting.  Please think about possible
symposium topics for the 1997 annual meeting of the ESA in New Mexico
(proposals are due to the ESA program chair in September), and either
bring them to the Statistical Section business meeting to discuss, or send
them to me via e-mail.  Proposals should include a topic, topic statement,
and possible speakers.
