Time to write

To contributors of the VCR synthesis volume,

I've sent the revised outline to Oxford and hope that they'll give us
their blessing this time. Even if there remains a hitch, we need to get
started writing and not just outlining. SO PLEASE BEGIN WORKING ON YOUR
SECTIONS. LEAD AUTHORS, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR COAUTHORS AND ORGANIZE
ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR CHAPTERS.

We intend to spend one day during January's all scientist meeting on the
book. Each lead author should be prepared to give a 20 min or so
summary of the chapter. First drafts of each chapter should be ready
for review by then.

Below is the schedule of activities that I sent to Oxford. If we are to
meet a March 1999 goal, we need to begin seriously now.
