The LTSS web server can now be connected to at: http://longterm.evsc.virginia.edu or http://www.longterm.evsc.virginia.edu. There is also a link at the ESA.org web page that will automatically redirect you to the LTSS server. The preferred bookmark should be http://esa.org/longterm since that link will remain stable wherever the server resides. Other links are subject to (infrequent) change.

Why all the different names? Basically this is an attempt to get away from esoteric and changable names into names that will remain stable. Longterm.evsc.virginia.edu is an 'alias' for a computer named Atlantic (now). It can be easily changed, however, to point to a new computer - thus allowing the web server to be moved without changing the address at which it is accessed. Ideally we would have a name like 'longterm.esa.org' that would not be associated with a specific university (thus allowing inter-university moves). However, such names need to be separately purchased, so for now we are going with the names above.
